This is more basic camping than Mahoora (though is run by the same company) and only takes place in the wilderness zones near Yala National Park, Ude Walawe and Wilpattu National Park. The tents are locally made and come with a spacious a bedroom and an en-suite bathroom.

Having the chance to camp near Yala Nation Park is a unique experience. The park is one of the best places in the world to see wild Leopards with its high population density and if you’re camping in the summer months you’ll likely see plenty of Sloth Bears that love the berries of the Palu Tree!
Camping in Ude Walawe National Park
Being an important habitat for Sri Lankan elephants, Ude Walawe National Park is the ideal place to camp out and view these gentle giants. Leopards are also seen in Ude Walawe, as are wild boar and water buffalo.
Camping in Wilpattu National Park
Camping in Wilpattu National Park is not only a great opportunity to spot the countless stunning wildlife that calls Wilpattu National Park home (especially water birds), but it is conveniently located close to the historic city of Anuradhapura. Take a day out sightseeing in Anuradhapura to view some of Sri Lanka’s most treasured ruins.
