Flower Garden Lake Resort near to Yala National Park is a small boutique style hotel that offers great accommodation for those on a budget.
The hotel is a fantastic place to stay in Sri Lanka if you’re looking to spot stunning wildlife. The lake resort itself overlooks the beautiful Weerawila Lake, where there is abundant birdlife and you can often see water buffaloes bathing!
Having only 10 rooms, the resort does feel very personal and tranquil being well away from the busy town centre.

The resort is close to Yala National Park, the most popular national park in the whole of Sri Lanka and home to hundreds of magnificent animals.
Yala is particularly known for its population of wild leopards which are readily seen on safari trips around the park. Another favourite amongst visitors is the sloth bear. The bears are particularly seen close to the Palu Trees during the summer months when they eat the tasty berries.
Because Yala Nation Park is so popular we tend to use a different entrance to most companies to give our customers the best experience and chance to see the stunning array of animals.
